She later continued her education in the United States, receiving a PhD in Oral Biology from Boston University and a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University. As an experienced dentist, Dr. Liu is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. She has completed extensive advanced implant training through AAID programs. Dr. Liu specializes in digital implant surgery and restoration, including the use of digital guides and navigation systems for single-tooth, multiple-tooth, and full-arch implant cases. She is also skilled in complex bone and soft-tissue procedures such as extraction-site grafting, guided bone regeneration, and autogenous bone block grafting. Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Liu is committed to community service. She is the founder of the Boston Dental Wellness community group and has been dedicated to promoting oral health awareness and improving dental care in the local community.
